Sweet Ride was founded by best friends Mandy and Brandy.

Brandy moved to Alaska days before her 11th birthday.  After learning that Brandy was without friends with whom to celebrate the occasion, Mandy volunteered (or was forced by her mom) to attend Brandy's party.  That night, a lifelong friendship began as the two camped out together in a trailer parked on the lawn of Brandy's house.

Years later, in a rusty lime green hatchback, we set out together from Alaska, and after stops in Los Angeles and Australia, we now consider the Bay Area home.  Over the years, baking, and more importantly tasting, has been a shared passion of ours.  As the kind of girls who sneak just one more bite when the other is not looking, we fancy ourselves dessert experts.

Today we are proud to launch Sweet Ride as the first and only mobile bakery of its kind in the Bay Area.  We hope you will stop by Sweet Ride to say "hi" to us in person and taste the good life in one of our treats.  We may have changed a little since we first met, but you'll still find us on the road together - only this time, our ride is bright pink.
